One of the most important components of success in life is the power of dreams.
Dreams have the power to keep us young and motivated not for a day, week, month, or year, but for our entire lifetime. The simple truth is this: dreamers die hard. Dreamers operate at a different level than people who have let go of their dreams.
I love speaking to high school students because they are full of dreams and aspirations of how they can change the world. Too many of us, however, give up on our dreams and live below our potential when we enter the real world and encounter our first setbacks and challenges. No one said dreams are easy. Dreams are things we have to fight for. I have one powerful question for you:
What one dream would you dare to dream if you knew you could not fail?
I don't care how old or young you are. It does not matter what personal triumphs you have achieved or what tragedies you have experienced. The truth is you can begin today to dream again. You can rekindle your human spirit and watch your dreams come true. Are you pursuing your dreams?
Make a difference today.
